Born in Long Island, raised in Jersey, schooled in Virginia, settled in Burbank. Army daughter, Marine & Coast Guard wife, proud mama of two tiny patriots. A small but mighty spitfire who loves to mentor students of all ages in the classroom, on set, and on stage. Also obsessed with Scottish Westies, Def Leppard, and St. Paddy’s Day, in no particular order.

Megan grew up on the stages of the McCarter Theatre with the Princeton Ballet. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia with her Master of Teaching and BA in Theatre, Megan moved to New York to begin her career in entertainment. After working in NYC & regional theatre, independent film, and daytime dramas, she moved to Los Angeles and quickly started to accrue network, cable and pilot credits. She has guest starred in both sitcoms and dramas on CBS, ABC, NBC, TNT, Showtime, Lifetime and Nickelodeon. On stage in NYC, she has originated numerous roles, including world premieres at the Cherry Lane Theatre, the Abingdon Theatre Company and the LA premiere of Dog Sees God (ensemble nominations -LADCC, LA Weekly & GLAAD Awards).
As a certified educational specialist with 18 years in the field, Megan has managed a successful tutoring business, throughout NYC and LA, utilizing creative instructional methods to help her students master concepts and gain confidence. Megan has been most thrilled however, to combine her passions for acting and education in her work at Warner Loughlin Studios in Hollywood. Here she serves as a Studio Director of both the Young Actors and Foundation Programs, as well as an in demand staff teacher and audition coach. She is also an On Camera Drama Instructor for the Professional Acting Program at UCLA, under the School of TFT. Known for her experience with curriculum, individualized instruction, and varied teaching strategies, Megan always brings her commitment to meet the specific needs of her actors and help them grow.
In addition, Megan is a busy writer and producer with several new television projects in development, including an hour family legal drama and a true crime limited series with Scott Winant, and writing partner, Nikki DeLoach. Her first scripted project sold to MTV and she has since developed for MTV, Imperative and Origin Entertainment. She is also an ATX Television Festival Finalist for her military comedy OORAH.
Megan currently lives in Burbank, CA with her husband, Coast Guard Officer Stuart Ambrose, their daughter, Mack, and their son, Huck.
