Born on Long Island, NY, and raised in NJ, Megan grew up dancing with the Princeton Ballet. After graduating from the University of Virginia with her Master of Teaching and BA in Theatre, Megan moved to New York, where she worked in film, commercials, daytime drama, and on stage - both regionally and within the city. She then relocated to Los Angeles, and started to accrue network, cable and pilot credits. Megan has guest starred on CBS, ABC, NBC, TNT, Hallmark, Showtime, Lifetime, Disney and Nickelodeon. On stage, she has originated numerous roles, including world premieres at the Cherry Lane Theatre, the Abingdon Theatre Company, and the LA premiere of Dog Sees God (ensemble nominations -LADCC, LA Weekly & GLAAD Awards).

As an educational specialist with 20+ years in the field, Megan has managed a successful tutoring business, throughout NYC and LA. She is the founder of The Tiny Tutor, a home learning system to guide parents in supporting their childrens’ early reading, writing and math development. Megan has combined her passions for acting and education in her work at Warner Loughlin Studios in Hollywood, where she’s served as a Studio Director as well as an in demand staff teacher and audition coach. She currently serves on the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television Faculty in their Acting Professional Program.  

As a producer, Megan’s first scripted project sold to a major cable network. She has developed projects and scripts for MTV, Origin Entertainment, Imperative Entertainment, and has been an ATX Television Festival finalist. Megan and her writing/producing partner, Nikki DeLoach, have developed an impressive array of projects including several Hallmark movies. Most recently they produced Taking The Reins and their holiday movie Christma

s For Keeps, will appear as part of Hallmark’s 2021 Christmas slate. They have several other projects optioned and in development. As creatives, they aim to find and produce projects that help people connect to themselves and others in order to look beyond their current circumstances and find hope, grace, and love. They truly believe that people are better together. Megan lives in Burbank with her husband, Coast Guard Officer, Stuart Ambrose, their daughter, Mack, and their son, Huck.
